An intriguing 2:1 ratio has been observed at the moment of lift-off.The radius or distance that varies from the starbase to the controlled propagation of visible shock waves generated by incremental propulsion until their non-visible dissipation – despite the condensation vapour expelled and propelled by the waves.At the instant of lift-off, when the shock wave is sufficiently strong, it reaches a radius twice the height of the starship before dissipating.
