at UCSF last night, presented by Dr. Ellen Bradley, with Josh Woolley and Robin Carhart-Harris. Large effect size with n=12. The motor exam improvement is like a 2-year reversal, which would be a breakthrough in treatments for Parkinson’s.

Hypothesis: Returning inflammation to homeostasis, separate from the psychedelic effects. More data in comments below. Next step: they will publish this work and do a larger RCT.

P.S. Similar therapeutic anti-inflammatory benefits have been found in Lyme Disease with psilocybin (early research we heard about last year).
