First of its kind… It was surreal to set this amazing gathering at Stanford… something I would not have imagined just 10 years ago.

“The Bay Area Psychedelic Science Symposium is a gathering of academic scientists to discuss the latest advancements in psychedelic science, network, and elaborate on ideas across fields, from chemistry, to molecular biology, circuit-level neuroscience and human clinical trial data.”

With an incredible lineup of speakers:
• Robin Carhart-Harris, UCSF
• Boris Heifets, Stanford
• Andrea Gomez, UC Berkeley
• Maxemiliano Vargas, UC Davis
• Karl Deisseroth, Stanford University
• Trisha Suppes, Stanford University/VA
• Jennifer Mitchell, UCSF
• Nolan Williams, Stanford University
• Joshua Woolley, UCSF
• Leanne Williams, Stanford University

  1. Findings they presented was nothing short of transformational, it was captivating.

  2. I know it seems amazing to attend a conference that has been brutally put down for generations. To me it does feel ‘right’, like of course we should be researching, using and experiencing ways to alter our perception.

So fascinating to ponder, to witness and experience how bio-chemically interwoven our minds are with the natural world. The play of molecules to tweak our perception altering our interactions.

If we cross paths on Kauai I’ll have to introduce you to my friend SH(unless you know him).

  3. Great to see legit academics embracing science around these important plants/substances/chemistries… Now must get Federal government out of the way completely: de-schedule all non-addictive entheogens/psychedelics. ps: nice socks pps: do not eat amanita muscaria (leave them for the deer) 😉

  4. They are just for show… meanwhile, these results are pretty amazing, from one Ibogaine treatment: details
