The battery charger for the Apollo Command Module was manufactured by ITT, and built in March, 1964. This was the fourth one built.

Installed in the Apollo Command Module, this Block I assembly was responsible for supplying continuous regulated voltage to batteries supplying spacecraft reserve power, pyrotechnic devices and sequential control systems. Primary energy generation came from three fuel cells in the Service Module (I have the first three of those on display). All electrical loads in the Command Module were estimated to be just 284 watts (NASA report, p.93).

Measuring 6 x 4.5 x 3, labeled on the front, “Battery Charger Spacecraft, NAA/S & ID Control Number ME461-0002-0002” — an artifact in the Future Ventures 🚀 Space Collection.

  1. Other angles: Looks like they needs to adjust the internal potentiometer on this one, presumably in testing and calibration, with machined-out access on the back side:
