You gotta love Teddy Roosevelt’s application for membership… only at the end of the third paragraph of qualifications, does he mention that his “positions” include “President of the United States.”
Membership applications also need an endorsement by current members… and I see his is signed by Robert Peary, the North Pole pioneer.
