…Ultima-creator and ISS astronaut Richard Garriott… and checking the quality of the cheetah taxidermy in the top floor Club Room… a technique pioneered by the former EC President, Carl Akeley, for exhibits in the natural history museum.

∑ = 118 years of wild and woolly adventures.

Example: Akeley was getting mauled by a leopard once in Africa, and when the big cat bit down his hand and forearm, he grabbed the cat’s tongue, and twists his fist, choking it as it is trying to chew off his arm!

Overhead is the tusk of a 250,000-year-old woolly mammoth that the club asserts it served at its annual dinner in 1951.
