A biography so well written… it is surreal for me to absorb the architectural digest of my youth. Part 1 just dropped.
There was a remarkable amount of work done by two very smart people, Kevin and Dan. For example, they read my entire flickr archive here, every single post twice over! (for a sense of it, that’s approx 1 post per day spanning 18 years!). They watched countless hours of video, like all of the Churchill Club VC debates. They compiled and organized the background material… and it’s 427 pages long!
After that preparation, they interviewed me, and my mom and colleagues. And they shadowed me for a day at work. Their months of background research came before any of that… so, they were so aware of me and things I had done and said in my life that it was like talking to an AI-upload of myself.
