Aubrites, named after the Aubres, France, fall of 1836, are enstatite achondrites. Most are breccias containing igneous and impact-melted clasts. They come from a unique parent body.

This is the larger half of a stone found in 2021 in Algeria. Djoua 001 is a “very coarse grained unbrecciated aggregate of predominantly enstatite with accessory diopside, daubreelite, Ti-Cr-bearing troilite and rare Ni-poor kamacite. No plagioclase was found in the studied slice or endcut.”
