My Nike Ska started just fine on a CTI K820 Blue Streak — Then came my first forward closure failure ever (a manufacture defect) leading to a rotary flamethrower overhead. It melted the onboard video camera.

We have been flying this airframe since 2005, and she will fly again after about 30 minutes of repair!

  1. And then, fire in all the wrong places!By bad luck, the mid-section burn was just where I had attached the on-rocket video camera… oh, how I wish it would have survived!Coming in hot At least it was an easy recovery near the pad 🙂
