And it’s pronounced “Luna” with a silent H. The 6U cube sat will fly an elliptical orbit super low (like 10km, just clearing Epsilon Peak) over the South Pole of the moon. It wants to fly as low as possible to get the best spatial resolution for what is effectively a one-pixel detector (it measures the density of water to a depth of 1 meter with a compact neutron spectrometer that detects when cosmic rays from outside our solar system hit a hydrogen atom, a proxy for H2O in this application).
