Colonizing Other Worlds

Sitting back while sheltering-in-place afforded the opportunity to acquire some extraterrestrial emissaries, some preserved from the early formation of our Solar System, older than planet Earth itself yet containing amino acids. Some from ancient planetary-scale collisions. Some from deep within asteroid Vesta. Some forming bizarre crystalline materials in space — super-cold-forged steel, magnetic forms of carbon, lithium-rich proteins of extraterrestrial origin, and some with pre-solar grains, meaning elements that are from neighboring supernovas and red giants.

All some of these meteorites are visually striking too, the incredible product of a vast iterative algorithm operating over space time.
