
From a recent UBS newsletter graphic, it looks like ATAI and its sub-company Compass Pathways are the most funded psychedelic science startups.

One of the biggest breakthroughs to the sector has been the rise of psychedelic medicine. Since 2018, companies such as Compass Pathways and ATAI Life Sciences have raised hundreds of millions of dollars with capital quickly entering the sector from established investors like Otsuka Pharmaceutical, Perceptive Advisors, Founders Fund, Peter Thiel, Christian Angermayer and Steve Jurveston’s Future Ventures.
The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts that – without significant changes – mental illness will cost the world economy $16t by 2030, making it the largest disease burden globally.”
