Originating from the asteroid 4 Vesta, the Howardites are a group of stony meteorites which are also considered achondrites as they lack chondrules like most other stony meteorites. This slice of the NWA 10562 is an overall muted gray in color and exhibits some linear veining but not fracturing. This thin slice is rather complex, with inconsistent coloration and patterning over the primary surfaces.

Overall Measurements: 4.33 x 2.76 x 0.08 inches (11.00 x 7.00 x 0.21 cm), weighs 29.75 grams
