Inspecting our nest — Future Ventures‘ Melissa scouted out the top of Salesforce Tower for us when it was under construction. The metal mesh up top is the framing for the huge 360° wrap-around television display that comes on each night.

It’s hard not to get dizzy looking down on everything. My old office at Bain is part of the building on the far right. I used to think the balcony there was a crazy high perch.
