The Scientific Eye on the Prize

From the Breakthrough Prize Awards last night, in an enormous specialty structure next to Hangar One at NASA Ames.

Known as the Oscars of Science, they are a surreal mashup of Hollywood and Si Valley, but the awardees walk home with $3M each.
