Peter Diamandis: When did you first become an environmentalist?
Harrison Ford: “When I was in college, I was a philosophy major, and the philosopher theologian Paul Tillich wrote that if you take what is most central, most valuable to you, that is God. Nature is my God — the intricacies, the design, the ineffable life force that sustains us.”
Peter: It’s the Force.
Harrison: “You are mentioning that in a reckless way. I only recently came to believe in the Force — and then they killed me. I say: ‘Force yourself.’”
Harrison: “Young people are heirs to a broken planet. They are a moral army. We need to give them support or get out of the way.”
