Bombing over Silicon Valley
For Memorial Day, you may have noticed the large planes rumbling slowly overhead. If you are curious what it is like up there, here are some of my favorite vintage photos from our B-17 flight. Taking handheld 3-frame-sequences during the vibration of flight was tricky at times but allowed the exposure detail to come out in an HDR merge. I felt so vulnerable with a thin metal skin wrapping a skeleton of metal and control cables and weaponry.
