Bringing the biking band back together.
It has been a long time, as my mountain biking dropped off a cliff once the Peloton bikes arrived. It was beautiful today in Monte Bello, with wild iris and lupine scattered about. We followed a coyote along the single track to start, and then saw the usual deer and birds of prey.
My bike is still going strong, for 24 years now! It is my favorite gift, and I can’t imagine letting it go. I was in my first year as a VC, and my partners Tim and John noticed me coveting a certain carbon fiber Y-frame bike in the window of Palo Alto Bicycles. And at our first Xmas party, they blew me away with this surprise gift.
