Seychelles Fruit Bat

Face to face with our furry friend, the King. These megabats (the size of cats) have keen vision and smell but have lost the echolocation common to insect-eating bats. I suspected they had hooked claws to hang from the branches upside down without muscular effort, and sure enough, you can see them here.
