This has been a good week for rockets. 🙂
The artist Pilat has begun the lighting studies for a painting of my Apollo Command Module air scrubber (the one with the square CO2 scrubbers versus the round ones in the Lunar Module, the source of much consternation during Apollo 13).
I also picked up a couple of interesting artifacts in the Bonhams space auction: one of Armstrong’s Apollo A7L space suit gloves and a pristine Russian scramjet engine that’s taller than me.
