Getting a deep peek inside us at Health Nucleus

Here is a video medley from my full body MRI. My favorite part is the heart.

Gen and I got to compare our results – we both have big heads and hippocampi, but she is off the charts on muscle mass. Now we can measure who has the larger spleen (which is the criteria for picking which player goes first in Exploding Kittens)

I spent a full 2 hours in the Siemens MRI tube and got a lot of imagery. To get the video of my heart beating, they had electrodes on my chest to synchronize the imaging to the heart beat. www.healthnucleus.com Full disclosure: we were the founding VC investor in Human Longevity Inc.

The integrated report (with full genome analysis, microbiome, and body fat and blood tests) is in process, but from first skim of MRI, the good news is that Gen and I are free of solid tumors and aneurysms. That puts us in the lucky 70%. 30% of those scanned so far have one, including a good friend, 10 years younger than me, who is alive today because of this scan… as well as the first two members of the SGI board who took the scan. It is a bit tragic that we typically detect lethal tumors when we notice the symptoms, and that is too late in the cycle (as with my Dad and his pancreatic cancer).
