HBO + Vice Line Dance
The CEOs of both on stage, Richard Plepler of HBO and Shane Smith of Vice. We had dinner with Shane last night, and found that he is a big fan of Elon. Today: “In news, we have to fight every day to keep our non-partisan status. Everyone tries to label you and paint with a brush of bias. It’s a war to stay in the center. We need more centrist, sane, non-partisan, non-comical news platforms. Fox News is going through a transition. It has to, or it will lose an entire generation of millennials. The average age of their viewers is 68. They can keep that audience; we’ll take the millennials.”
