Receiving my Tesla Model X (VIN 2) from Elon Musk at the Launch Event

Now with “bioweapon defense mode”…! The Tesla Model X has a huge HEPA filter in the nose. This is great for clean breathing in Beijing, but it is also helpful in the zombie apocalypse. Pushing that button raises the cabin to positive pressure, like a clean room cruising through contagion. Back stage, this was the feature that brought the biggest smiles.

My Model X, the second one produced (Elon got VIN1) was chosen as the display model for the press and Elon’s on-stage presentation.
