I blurted out that I had just checked. =)

Then we started discussing the Elon Musk biography at a Bloomberg salon in San Francisco. I read a preprint, and was captivated, especially by the early history. I have know Elon since early 1996, yet, I felt a little startled each time I found my name in the book… twelve times altogether.

Here is a wonderful counterpoint of quotes from the back cover, the first by the moderator of our panel:

“This is the definitive look at the man who may have the biggest impact on the human race. Should Musk bring humanity to Mars, this [book] will be the planet’s founding document.”
— BRAD STONE, author of the bestselling The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon

“This thrilling book will make you want to start a car company, build spaceships, and go to Mars. The only downside is when you eventually remember that you’re not Elon Musk.”
— AARON LEVIE, CEO of Box
