PEP operated from 1980 to 1990, with center-of-mass energies up to 29 GeV. At its apex, PEP had five large particle detectors in operation, as well as a sixth smaller detector. About 300 researchers made used of PEP.

  2. Thanks… it was with very low light so I had to improvise a tripod-like brace for the iPhone. Oh, before we got in trouble for entering the radiation zone (the whole building required special security access).
