  1. at the pad DSC04374 Our beater rocket… It has survived a year drilled into the ground at Snow Ranch. My son is holding the RF-tracking system that proved essential to finding the rocket far away in the greens. Here are some of the prior versions of the rocket (the upper half keeps changing). We could not see the rocket until we were 10 feet away from itDSC04379 We flew her again that night with a long-burning I100 red motor, hoping to the the spiral in the sky… but she went into an under-powered lateral "lunar-module drift" that was pretty coolIMG_6576
