A debut to multifamily property developers, with Randi Zuckerberg, Nest and August Locks before me. My introduction of Flux (the first spinout of the Google X moonshot factory) fetched a new response; I have never had an audience interrupt me with a round of applause. That happened after the Flux section. I told them that I wished the Flux team could see their reaction as a validation that they are on to the right track. And the video just came out today.   1. I was at Flux yesterday and it occurred to me that this system, when fully developed, could be a very interesting tool for city officials and urban planners. Imagine the best practices sharing and Monte Carlo simulations that could be done on zoning and policy changes under consideration… At X-Prize Visioneering, Paul Romer spoke of "charter cities" in China… and I wrote a short essay on evolutionary dynamics in urban planning for ARUP.
