   Planet Labs co-founder Chris Boshuizen is the belle of the SmallSat ball…. The SpaceWorks market research speaker that followed him has tracked 78 smallsat launches so far in 2014, 67 of which are from Planet.

   While interest in the technical material has rocketed upward, I was struck by the conference logo details, which I saw on every light post in the town of Logan…
   …I noticed that it’s exactly like the pendant I designed… with 3D model on the left, and final result on the right, with my favorite detail — I asked if they could mount a ruby backwards for the flame, and although they had never tried that before, it worked wonderfully. And the whole design is weight-balanced from a single hanging loop.
