At NewSpace 2014 today, I had a magical hour of brainstorming about orbital rendezvous with the good Dr., and his dreams for Mars, ideally by 2019 for the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11.
Cueing from his shirt, he suggested: “A permanent Mars base should be the most important goal of the U.S. space program.”
