“45 years ago, you did Apollo. Today, you need to do this.”
— Apollo 9’s Rusty Schweickart to 300 people at NASA today.

Rusty was the first LM Pilot and co-founded B612 to protect the Earth from asteroids, by detecting their 100-year trajectories with a satellite looking outward from a near-Venus orbit. To date, we have detected 10 thousand near Earth asteroids, and can’t find them all from an Earthly vantage point.

B612 will track all of the million unknowns with enough advance warning to make a difference, to alter the course of the solar system, ever so slightly in delta-V, to protect life on Earth. If you could do this, how could you not? (Oh, and it costs less than the latest art museum upgrade campaign in San Francisco). http://sentinelmission.org
