r u R2?

It has a steel rail endoskeleton and fiberglass exterior. Great detail at full size. And a video clip reminder of its debut at the board meeting… And I have a humanoid robot board meeting today…. spooky!
Still a good scene (and a good movie) 🙂 My favourite part is the brief moment of panic of the engineers in the background and hectic cable-ripping… I’m doing robotics research, I know the feeling too well (strictly non-lethal though, luckily…). Btw. I have a telemetry plot of a quadrotor drone I designed that suddenly decided (due to a faulty accelerometer) that it was in free fall and went to full throttle. Reminded me of the rocket launch telemetry you often post – 10m to 50m altitude in 1.5 seconds, until I finally found the override switch on the remote and brought it back…
Good luck in your board meeting 😉 (I assume it’s Baxter – Rodney once showed me his robot is safe by holding his head into its way, so it’s probably ok…)
… looks like Tested caught up with you, with some more detail: http://www.tested.com/art/makers/461306-maker-faire-2014-robocop...
maybe you’ve also seen the real-life version, brought to you by Samsung TechWin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=v5Y...
