Celebrating Estonian Independence Day. Vaba Eesti!
Konstantin Päts was the first President of the Republic of Estonia, co-authored the Estonian Declaration of Independence and issued it on February 24, 1918. His brother Voldemar Päts was the Minister of Education, and my great grandfather. He was also a painter, and I took photos of his work which now adorn a 544-page book on him.
