We found human remains in the lava tubes of Kona…
The boys noticed the entrance while golfing, and emerged about 100 ft. away, popping up like whack-a-moles. On return visits, we found stockpiled animal remains, which were clearly brought there by a predator, and that would have to be human on this island.
By iPhone and Kindle light, we then found an arresting image, a human skull… It was a solemn moment. We carefully removed ourselves from the scene, trying not to disturb anything.
