Hope to see the Tesla car in Kenya. This is a great opportunity to make a huge impact on the education and the economy in Africa.
Tesla car can have huge impact of innovation on development in Africa and portray new technologies that enhance the value of energy, decrease transaction costs, cultural and economic exchange.
Here is the idea of the project: One Tesla car and a solar roof per town
1- Tesla car
2- Solar roof
3- Navigation & Internet for the whole town
With Tesla showrooms open one by one, wonder when is the first one in South Africa.
Under African Sun, wonder if charging stations powered by Solar City is to become local there.
a wonderful vision… thinking back to Africa, and silent safaris…

P.S. For a sense of scale, here is David in China at the introduction of a public service announcement to stop ivory buying:
On the right is Yao Ming, the 7’6" basketball star who used to play for Houston and carried the flag for China at the last Olympics. He’s been working with the WCN elephant project in Kenya and doing PSAs and blogs in China about the impact that buying ivory has on elephants.
