Facing Vernal Falls
I offer all of my photos on flickr for free on a Creative Commons license, and this leads to all kinds of wonderful surprises when I see my photos crop up somewhere new. So far, the most interesting ones have been the Charlie Rose show, a Science article, and a book for the blind…. For a photograph, I was a bit perplexed by that last one. =)
This candid shot I captured in Yosemite was just used in The Atlantic to conclude a historical photo essay covering 123 years… as the National Park was closed on its birthday:
