One of four landing legs for the new SpaceX rocket, with a huge carbon fiber layup and hydraulic ram. During liftoff, it lies flush against the body, and then acts as an air brake on the return.

  1. The aerodynamic shape of the F9’s landing legs look so great! It will surely bee impressive when they are used for the first tests and are great for showing off SpaceX’s engineering tenacity once they are used at the the end of future flights…Impressive!!!
