  3. yes… and it is literally a green oasis in the middle of a barren desert landscape… Part of the challenge is finding the place to cross the railway tracks…

    Frog Pond Dip

    On the edge of the Black Rock Desert are numerous hot springs and pools fed by geothermal activity. The Frog Pond is fed with 10-15 gallons per minute of 101°F water (back where the dudes are in the shade), which keeps most of the pool in the high 90’s. The water clarity is only good for the first person dip…
