  4. I rode Amtrak home to Boston from Philadelphia last week. The train approaches NYC from the southwest and it was marvelous to see a huge skyscraper dwarfing the others in lower Manhattan once again.

  5. Those are the ugliest most depressing memorial "monuments" ever built by humans. Two holes in the corpus of a nation created by Bush and Cheney draining away its spirit blood. Can’t wait for them to be filled in and redesigned.
