it’s so warped, i can see through time… =)
It’s actually my "conference lens" — a Canon f/2 100mm prime. There were circus performers on stage, and I liked how the lights danced off the lens in my lap.
The fisheye looks like this

This Peleng lens is produced at the Belomo optical factory in Minsk, Belarus, and it took 2 months to arrive from a factory order. It has the look and feel of used military equipment.
I looked online, and the manufacturer proudly claims to be “the leading producer among former USSR countries of optical systems for armoured vehicles” -
Has the look of quality Hassleblad stuff, BTW did they mention they also made optics for the spy satts too? ……. a customer of ours went behind the IRON CURTAIN int he 80’s and we told him to pick up a few lenses that were a direct fit (and rip off!!) of the "blads
500CM series ………………. we’d make a ton of money selling ’em here
