   Yeah, notice the power strip down the center of the top table… which can power the projector, which provides light for the panels… and… so… these must have been designed for One Infinite Loop Drive in Cupertino, the address of Apple HQ…

   That was a joke, just fyi. =)

   Hmm. Lots of surface area, so it can power lots of laptops, tablets, and phones. But the more laptops, tablets, and phones people use at the table, the less surface area exposed to light, generating less power to devices…

   …

   We seem to have hit upon a solution for creating a conference room in which people actually are forced to pay attention to what the speaker is saying. So long as everyone is forced to check their battery packs at the door, like the guns at the border to an old western town…
