   I remember my favorite, an ad I saw years ago for aphrodisiacs in Hustler magazine, it said in bold type and I quote, "These are Genuine Placebos".

   I always wanted to run with Placebo.com to sell the scientifically proven benefits of our Placebo Pills™. We’d list links to all the scientific peer-reviewed papers in reputable journals where a drug trial failed versus placebo! They would all be proven claims of the superior efficacy of the magical Placebo. And what brand ubiquity… Our Placebo product gets mentioned by name in paper after paper, and spans everything from neurology to gout. It’s the miracle cure-all. And ironically, the ignorance of the average buyer is critical to the efficacy of the treatment!
