I got a wide-angle shot of the Model X in development.
The unique opportunities in the EV design space should really sink in when the Model X rolls out next year… with the look of a SUV but the convenience and internal space of a minivan, with direct side access to all three rows of seats.
For 4WD, they just add a second motor up front, something that would not make sense for a gas car. No slop in the transmission or transaxle (since it has neither). Horsepower comparable to the gas-burning supercars of today, yet with a total cost of ownership less than a Ford Taurus…
