  3. Merci Y’all.

[http://www.flickr.com/photos/39581783@N08] — and so I made it clickable for larger versions. I was on the fence for which photo I likes more and I can’t quite describe why I like the three trees…

  4. Nice job Steve, I need to get up there!

  5. Beautiful photos! Like the tree trees…fun to watch!

  6. There is something about threes in human’s brain. Don’t we usually knock three times ?
We hip hip hooray three times and personally, when I really want to remember something for sure, I repeat to myself three times. And so much other stuff we find in dictionaries of symbolism.
But who cares, your photo is just simply SPLENDID. (I went to see it in the original size, very good small camera).
Bonjour mon ami et bonne fin de semaine.

  7. And don’t forget Rendezvous With Rama with the advanced civilization doing everything in triplicate…

My son just discovered something cool while zooming into our pool on Google Earth: the mountain we are skiing on, Mt. Pluto, is responsible for the formation of Lake Tahoe. I always wondered why such a deep lake would exist high up in the Sierras. It is the result of a massive lava flow from Mount Pluto (2 million years ago) blocking the downstream river exit for the water.

  8. Always looking for something new to read…."Rendezvous With Rama" is my next one. Thanks.
