The Lynx rocketplane is a horizontal-takeoff, horizontal-landing (HTHL) rocket-powered spaceplane that carries two people on a suborbital parabola. During the flight, they wear pressure suits made by Orbital Outfitters. Engine test video below.

This is the flight vehicle in development at the Mojave Space Port, and the subject of the Axe Apollo superbowl ad.

  2. The last photo should be in the Masten set, not the XCOR set. Nice to see some progress photos!

  3. Right you are. And wow, you know the place! I moved the Masten cart to the proper place and replaced the one above with a XCOR cart…

  4. The last photo is the gas trailer, high pressure helium and nitrogen. The sphere holds liquid nitrogen, which boils off and fills the nitrogen bottles.
