This hypnogram shows the pattern of my sleep last night. I finally got the strap-on EEG from scifoo to stay on for the night.

Zeo classifies sleep into the broad categories of:

• REM – Essential for mental acuity through organizing memory to better apply what you learn

• Deep – Critical for restoring muscle and building immunity

• Wake – time you were awake after having fallen asleep, including short periods throughout the night

And, rolling it all up, they say I sleep better than 90% of people (ZQ 91) and that my SleepAge is that of a 28 year old.

“Zeo’s ZQ sleep score and sleep breakdown are based on actual sleep stage data we get when people sleep with Zeo, including REM and Deep sleep. The information behind Sleep Age comes from the largest consumer sleep database in the world.”

  1. This is what the headband looks like:

Why is Harvard syn bio Prof. George Church wearing it during daytime? He has narcolepsy. So in the group sessions at Scifoo, people could keep an eye on his engagement (from the real-time sleep graph displayed on the iPad on his chest). At one point he did fall asleep… and he woke up and found himself speaking to the group.

Also, my overall sleep score is similar to the one I measured with BodyMedia

but it uses completely different sensors, aimed more at daily exercise: 3-axis accelerometer, galvanic skin response, skin temp and heat flux.

  2. SleepAge is that of a 28 year old. Fantastic :-)))

  3. my answer to the question "how old are you?" is as always "25":D

cool, maybe you can give us some tips how to get the same results…

  4. oh, thought about something else, if we all are going to live till 700-1000 – we are only teenagers now (if that):)

  6. sure. and thanks. =)

I happen to be in one of my childhood states today – TX… Waco… They estimate 105F today, the highest temp in recorded history! Will be seeing some engine tests with SpaceX.
