“Eastern Afghanistan’s #1 Party School”
(He brought this back from his most recent trip to Kabul and J’bad)

Looking at their logo, can you imagine how intense those sorority rush parties must be? =)

It’s always fun when Todd drops by for a visit!

I gave him a sample of my carbon-fiber composite layup, from the place where my fins ripped off at Mach 2.5 and scattered bits of electronics and rocket across the playa (launch video compilation).

We were both curious to see the failure analysis using his diamond-knife rotary microscope (which he normally uses for slicing brains to create 3D maps of cortical connections).

P.S. the engine next to him is very cool… cryo-cooled… and forming icicles under full thrust

It is the First H2-O2 engine, designed in 1959 and still flying today. It has been the 2nd Stage of Saturn, Atlas, Titan & Delta. It has taken spacecraft to theSun, Moon, and every planet. It’s still the most fuel efficient engine and a powerful 400,000 HP equivalent.

P.S. The infective risk of modern religion discussion is a bit more interesting over here.
