The Russian delegation is about to have their first taste of frozen yogurt at SpaceX headquarters. Seemed like a historic moment to me. =)
Vladimir Popovkin, on the right, is the Director of the Russian Federal Space Agency and former First Deputy Defense Minister of Russia and commander of the Russian Space Forces. So, he managed Russia’s nuclear weapons program.
In the back, and in the pink tie the photo below, is Alexey Krasnov, Director of the Human Space Flight Program for Roscosmos and the ISS Program Manager. And up front, Mikhail Kokorich, CEO of Dauria Aerospace.
And then I read in Time magazine: “The most centrally located spot in the building was chosen as the perfect place to build a frozen-yogurt station. ‘I like the randomness of it,’ Musk says. ‘A frozen yogurt bar in a rocket factory.’”
