Cisco has taken over downtown San Diego. Talking innovation at Cisco ITES.

I last spent quality time with Cisco in some unusual environments: biking through France with John Morgridge… and chilling in their mock hotel at HQ. This was almost the same. =)

  1. The beach ends here!
And so does the network… No cloud services… Cell phones scrambled…

This fence is the turn around point for the Navy Seals in training as they run the beach in their booties. Here’s a good visual of the beach workout during hell week…

  2. I was with cisco when they had 3 buildings at menlo pk. during my interview there, they were ‘fond’ of showing me the bullet holes in the building side from the nearby east palo alto ‘locale’. that was the age of the AGS router. so much has changed since then; cisco now owns much of san jose and is essentially a sub-city into itself. I wonder if there’s any of the old cisco left in what is cisco, today?

  3. French trip is cool… Cisco keeps reinventing itself.

I’m sure the EPA HQ looked the same as now…
