As we were brainstorming at the STVP board meeting today, I noticed a number of interesting tidbits on the wall, and waited for the coffee break to catch them all.

The Entrepreneurial Thought Leader speaker series posters along the top bring back many good memories. I remember them fondly when I was an undergrad, and some, like Hotmail founder Sabeer Bhatia credit them for his entrepreneurial inspiration. Here is the lineup for the current quarter (open to the public).

  1. The entrance… with the crowdsourced logo for the new NSF national center for undergrad entrepreneurship education, with a polyketide window treatment:

The ubiquitous post-it notes on the walls

  2. excellent :-))

just one quibble about rampant misuse of "epicenter" when center is meant.

what center is this epicenter above, one wonders.

  3. These podcasts are great:) have been listening to them a few years and was very happy to find them initially, cannot get a 5th degree from Stanford yet, good grief – there are a lot of resources to learn from.

  4. Oh they are just being clever. It’s the "EPI Center" where EPI stands for "Engineering Pathways to Innovation" and they aim to "create seismic change in how undergraduate engineers are educated in the United States." =)
