   It’s a Tesla Coil.

   Plug it in while standing close and it will knock you off your feet with some high voltage

   It will be exciting if that is the waiting room. It will be more exciting to see the car being brought to life.
   Tesla is a really unique person. He has photographic memory, picture thinking, synesthete capability, and he is a polyglot. There are photos of him letting his friend Mark Twain playing his inventions in this link if interested. http://www.teslasociety.com/famousfriends.htm
   It seems back then New York area is the center of inventions. There are also Youtube video clips about using Tesla coil in entertainment. My fellow college student built one for school faire back then and got his girlfriend scared unintentionally on the first version. Instructions of building this are available on the internet. By any means, safety first.

   oh, feel already knocked of my feet:D, liked similar scenes in the movie – The Prestige – even tried to take screenshots of these scenes… keep wondering if purple is the only color and why purple?
   this type of scientific "normal" phenomenon looks very paranormal:D
   if Musk would visit the Ancient world with this type of thing – people would think he is Zeus..

   I’ve done some quick charging and battery re-conditioning … but this is …. um, impressive!!!-) Is that charger included as standard equipment with the Tesla?
